About the Business
By checking company or family policies patients often find they are covered for a course of treatment.
Osteopaths are trained to recognise some of the underlying causes of dysfunction. Osteopathic treatment does not target the symptoms alone but treats areas of the body that are implicated in the symptom pattern as part of the underlying cause. Most patients consult an osteopath when in pain which they may have been suffering from for a considerable period of time on and off. Immediate advice is always given to help relieve pain. There needs to be an awareness that symptoms often relate to structural problems which can lead to compensational failure in certain cases. These may be caused by poor posture, previous injuries, faulty movement patterns etc. and osteopaths always address these causal and/or predisposing factors to help prevent recurrence where possible.
