About the Business
CLARE REED (Bachelor of Osteopathy Degree) is a local Teignmouth girl, growing up here and returning after qualifying at the British School of Osteopathy in 2009. Clare has also trained in medical acupuncture (dry needling) which she can use to help muscle spasms. She is particularly interested in treating sports injuries and pregnant women. SONIA MISTELY (Diploma in Osteopathy) qualified at the European School of Osteopathy, based in Kent, in 1984 and began her career working in a natural health centre in Bristol and a well-established osteopathic practice in Torquay.
She set up Teignmouth Osteopathic Practice in the early 1990s. Sonia has a special interest in easing the symptoms of people suffering with arthritic conditions, and also in treating babies and children. In 2008/9 Sonia trained with Dr Rosy Daniel, an integrated medical doctor, to become a Health Creation Mentor (more). She has a son, Michael, and lives in Teignmouth.
